Terms of Service

You need an account to take part in prayer events. Please keep your sign-in details secure and give accurate information. You must be old enough to consent to an online service in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

A new church subscription starts with a 3-day free trial. Payment details are required to begin the trial. You can cancel any time before the trial ends and you will not be charged. One trial is available per church.

After the trial the Church Plan is $49 USD per month, charged automatically to your saved payment method until you cancel. Any applicable tax is calculated at checkout. Prices may change with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

If a payment fails we may retry it and will email you. Church events and bookings may become read-only while a subscription is unpaid.

You can cancel at any time from Billing in your church admin area. Cancelling stops future charges and your church keeps access until the end of the paid period. Payments already made are generally not refundable, except where required by law or where we agree otherwise. Your prayer events and bookings remain stored after cancellation unless you ask us to delete them.

You agree not to use Prayer Book to:

• post unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful or deliberately misleading content
• share other people's private or sensitive information without permission
• impersonate a church, leader or member
• send spam, advertising or unsolicited fundraising
• attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the service

Church administrators are responsible for the content and members of their church, and may moderate or remove content. We may suspend or remove accounts, content or churches that break these terms.

You keep ownership of the prayer requests, notes and event details you add. You give us permission to store and display that content so the service can work for the people you share it with.

We work to keep Prayer Book available and dependable, but the service is provided as is. We may occasionally need to carry out maintenance or change features.

To the extent permitted by law, Prayer Book is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or loss arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous three months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

We may update these terms and will note the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by applicable law, and nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live.
